Responsibilities
Assist in planning and conducting qualitative and quantitative user research e.g. interviews, usability testing, surveys, product data
Support synthesis of research findings into actionable insights and recommendations
Apply your curiosity, asking the right questions and more to uncover key information
Collaborate with product management, product design, engineering, and stakeholders
Participate in stakeholder meetings and contribute to research presentations
Qualification
Required
Must be a current undergraduate student pursuing a degree in Psychology, Design, Anthropology, Human-Computer Interaction or related field
Strong interest in UX research and user-centered design
Familiarity with research methods and tools e.g. usability testing, surveys, affinity mapping
Innovative, forward-thinking
Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
Autonomous and proactive
High standards and attention to detail
Good communication skills (interpersonal and written skills)
Ability to adapt to fast pace and changes
Position is based in Chicago, IL – must be able to relocate for the duration of the internship
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship now and in the future
Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualifications
Reliable, punctual attendance is a crucial function of the position
Preferred
Experience with tools like Figma, UserTesting, Quantum Metric, Google Analytics, or similar is a plus
