Sales Consultant – Marine Industry
Stevens Marine is a long-established Portland-based dealership in the marine industry, looking for an energetic and motivated Sales Consultant. The role involves building customer relationships, mastering the product line, and achieving sales targets in a commission-based environment.

Responsibilities
Build and maintain long-term customer relationships before and after the sale
Learn and master our full product line, including features and accessories
Sell boats in our showroom, at off-site events, and conduct on-the-water demos
Follow a proven sales process: prospect, present, follow up, close
Maintain a detailed customer list/CRM for follow-ups and future sales
Accurately quote pricing including taxes, trade-ins, licensing, and financing
Oversee unit delivery and ensure a smooth customer experience
Introduce buyers to the service team to build loyalty and repeat business
Attend boat shows and promotional events to grow customer base
Other duties as assigned
Meet or exceed annual sales, unit, and profit targets
Deliver accurate paperwork and timely follow-through
Provide exceptional customer service throughout the sales process
Consistently prospect new leads and follow up on past contacts
Qualification
Required
Highly self-motivated and driven to succeed
Comfortable working in a commission-based environment
Strong team player with a positive, can-do attitude
