Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain automated testing frameworks and test suites for functional, regression, and performance testing
Write, optimize, and execute automated test scripts using Java, Python, or JavaScript
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins or similar)
Analyze requirements and user stories to define automation-ready test scenarios
Conduct automated performance and security testing
Collaborate with developers to validate software behavior and troubleshoot defects
Perform API testing using tools such as Postman and SoapUI
Conduct backend validations using SQL queries and cloud storage inspection
Prepare detailed test reports, document findings, and communicate results to stakeholders
Maintain and support test environments to ensure consistent test execution
Mentor junior test engineers and promote best practices in automation
Lead testing activities on mission-critical and high-visibility projects

Required

Minimum 8+ years of experience in software development, software QA/QC, or test automation
Strong programming ability in Java, Python, or JavaScript
Hands-on experience with Selenium, Appium, or similar automation tools
Strong experience with GCP or other cloud testing environments (minimum 2+ years)
Proficiency in writing SQL queries and validating backend processes
Experience testing APIs using Postman, SoapUI, or comparable tools
Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins
Extensive experience creating test plans, test cases, test scripts, and test reports
Strong background in formal software testing methodologies for complex applications
Experience using multiple defect tracking tools (e.g., Mercury, Rational, Jira)
Proven ability to work independently on mission-critical deliverables
Experience mentoring or training less experienced team members
Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Preferred

Practical knowledge of AI testing frameworks for ML/AI-driven applications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
