Senior Account Director
Mortar Advertising is a company known for crafting bold marketing strategies and innovative creative solutions since 2002. They are seeking a Senior Account Director to lead key client engagements, drive business growth, and mentor a high-performing account team in a fast-moving agency environment.

Responsibilities
Serve as the senior account lead for multiple B2B clients, guiding brand, marketing, and go-to-market strategy
Cultivate long-term, trusted relationships with client stakeholders, including those in senior/executive roles
Lead integrated programs across digital, brand, content, demand generation, and campaign development
Partner with strategy and creative teams to deliver exceptional work that drives measurable client outcomes
Oversee project health, forecasting, financial performance, and resourcing across your accounts
Serve as a leader and mentor, supporting career growth and team performance across the agency
Actively participate in agency new business, proactively identifying and nurturing prospects (including from your own network), developing strategic approaches to new business inquiries, and leading the creation of proposals, pitch narratives, and RFP responses
Qualification
Required
8+ years of account management experience in an advertising, marketing, or creative agency (B2B experience required)
Deep understanding of B2B marketing, messaging, and complex buyer journeys
Proven ability to lead integrated campaigns—including brand development, digital marketing, and demand gen
Demonstrated success managing large client relationships and complex, multi-workstream engagements
Avid, daily use of generative AI tools within all aspects of your job and an openness and enthusiasm for expanding usage
Strong financial management skills, including forecasting, utilization, and profitability ownership
Exceptional communication abilities: presenting, writing, strategic storytelling
Ability to thrive in a nimble, entrepreneurial environment
Strong presentation and persuasion skills; comfortable interfacing with senior-level clients
Mastery of core productivity tools (Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, Keynote)
Experience working with remote, distributed internal teams across multiple time zones
Preferred
Experience working with healthcare/medical device, tech, or SaaS clients strongly preferred
Bonus: Client-side marketing or product experience
