Production Control Analyst

Responsibilities

Maintains or assists with launch plans for new products
Coordinates priorities among engineering and manufacturing personnel to expedite development of new product
Tracks and prioritizes design release of new products to support manufacturing lead times
Tracks components throughout their operations and elevates priority or technical issues to the appropriate personnel
Tracks components being purchased through supply chain and elevates priority or technical issues to the appropriate personnel
Maintains shortage/status lists for large R&D assemblies for presentation to management on up to a daily basis
Periodically reviews obsolescence of R&D hardware for proper allocation to the owning program, both physically and digitally
Maintains metrics related to design release and manufacturing lead time performance for review at SLAM
Performs other analytical and reporting exercises as required by the Cell Manager/Team Leader
Performs Production Coordination tasks as needed, including but not limited to:
Reviews MRP release requirements, i.e. Planned Shop Orders
Reviews material availability for Shop Orders to be to be released
Creates, releases, reserves, issues and receives Shop Orders
Processes miscellaneous material transactions including location changes, scrap, cycle count adjustments, etc
Updates equipment records of serialized components to track design changes in-process
This position is part of our PRO-BLUE Rotation Program for business professionals. The individual will rotate between 2-3 of the following disciplines, each lasting 3-6 months:

Must be willing and able to work onsite (remote work is not available at this time)

Required

Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics or related field
Work requires job knowledge and skills gained with 0-2 years of experience
Must have a basic understanding of manufacturing, inventory and purchasing processes and systems, product structures, bill of materials (BOM), routings, SAP, Master Schedule, Manufacturing Standards and MRP/PDSM integration
Must be able to resolve the more difficult pc related issues and be capable of facilitating problem resolution related to material activities across functions
Able to prepare and present material-related cell metrics on behalf of the cell
Proficiency in the use of SAP and Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
U.S. citizenship is required
Position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Government Security Clearance, if needed
