Responsibilities

Being a backup to print, sort and distribute material release orders and special processing requests
Printing, sorting and distributing material release orders and special processing requests
Collecting and maintaining files of documents supporting transactions impacting the receipt of material into inventory, or status of items received at the Inventory Control Point
Assembling folders with contract and previous receipt transactions for inspectors, for items received from vendors/contractors and pending inspection
Verifying inspector notations, due ins, contract line items, and posting items into inventory
Assisting with requests for documentation in support of audits and statistical samples
Reviewing process and desk guides and implementing processes into daily work. Ability to adjust and implement process changes

Required

Must be a U.S. Citizen
Must be registered or exempt from the Selective Service
A one-year probationary period may be required

To qualify for this position, you MUST meet all of the following requirements by the closing date of this announcement
MINIMUM QUALIFYING SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE is experience that has equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position
To qualify at the GS-06 grade level, applicants must have at least one (1) full year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-05 grade level in the federal sector
Specialized experience must include the following: Experience processing supply transactions; using an automated supply system to conduct searches or process transactions; and performing records functions in inventory, storage, cataloging, and receipt and control processes
To qualify at the GS-05: In order to qualify for this position at the GS-05 level, your resume must clearly demonstrate that you have one full year of the minimum qualifying specialized experience comparable in difficulty and responsibility to at least the GS-04 level in the federal service
Specialized experience requirements at the GS-05 level are the same, just with more supervision
Education must be accredited by an accrediting institution recognized by the U.S. Department of Education in order for it to be credited towards qualifications
Submit a copy of your college transcript (unofficial is acceptable) from an accredited institution
Once selected & prior to appointment, applicants must provide an official college transcript
Education completed in foreign colleges or universities may be used to meet Federal qualification requirements if you can show that your foreign education is comparable to education received in accredited educational institutions in the U.S
If this position requires specific educational course work to qualify, or you are qualifying based in whole or part on education, you are required to provide all unofficial transcripts (undergraduate, graduate, etc.) by the closing date of this announcement or you will be disqualified from further consideration
Transcripts should be legible and detailed, showing course number and department (i.e., bio 101, math 210, etc.), course title, number of credit hours, and grade earned
If course content cannot be easily identified from the title of the course as listed on your transcript, you must submit an official course description from the college/university that reflects the content at the time the course was taken
