Responsibilities

Apply a deep understanding of equipment used in the manufacture of air control products, including stainless steel sheet, plate, and structural materials. Recommend and implement automation initiatives, analyze material handling systems, and propose process improvements that enhance quality and productivity

Design and develop custom tools, fixtures, and equipment that support the manufacture of our products. Work with equipment manufacturers to communicate design requirements, operational needs, and process specifications. Establish procedures for new equipment and perform ROI analyses for proposed improvements

Identify opportunities for lean implementation and process optimization. Collaborate with manufacturing teams to plan, train, and implement new systems or equipment. Anticipate challenges, troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues, and ensure smooth, safe, and efficient operations

Serve as a professional representative of the company when interacting with vendors and contractors. Assist with capital expenditure planning and product cost analysis to support continuous improvement and cost control

Apply company policies and lean principles to sustain continuous quality improvement (CQI). Develop and maintain process documentation and collaborate closely with production, quality, and maintenance teams to ensure alignment and consistency across operations
