Responsibilities
Act as a vocal champion for quality, embedding it into every stage of the development lifecycle
Partner with Design, Product, and Engineering early to analyze requirements and surface risks
Define test strategies and craft thoughtful test plans that cover both happy paths and tricky edge cases
Lead exploratory testing sessions and integration days to uncover gaps automated tests might miss
Guide squads in establishing and improving their own testing practices
Triage, analyze, and escalate customer-reported issues, identifying trends and opportunities for prevention
Provide actionable, data-driven insights through quality reporting and risk analysis
Collaborate with Automation Engineers to shape tools and infrastructure that empower dev-owned testing
Qualification
Required
3+ years of QA engineering experience, in fast-paced product environments
Strong analytical skills with a talent for breaking down complex problems
Passionate about intuitive, reliable software that 'just works'
Known for your attention to detail — others call you a perfectionist, and you wear it proudly
Comfortable facilitating discussions, influencing without authority, and coaching others on testing best practices
Highly motivated self-starter who thrives under pressure and deadlines
Excited by the pace of shipping interactively and quickly, and skilled at balancing speed with quality
Curious about new technologies and comfortable leveraging AI to boost testing, risk analysis, and overall quality practices
Experience with cross-browser and mobile device testing
Experience with Playwright or other automation tools
Familiarity with Chrome DevTools or API testing
Computer science background or proficient with a programming language
