Responsibilities
Develop and implement a regional Market Strategy aligned with annual business plans and long-term strategic goals
Identify opportunities, monitor market trends, evaluate competitiveness, and forecast potential returns
Oversee assigned accounts, understand their role in the business portfolio, and align value propositions to account-specific opportunities
Build and maintain strong, lasting client relationships, or facilitate relationship-building across teams
Lead the development of integrated account plans (“zipper plans”) that align company resources with key client priorities
Maintain leadership-level relationships and coordinate cross-functional team engagement for account success
Track market opportunities, evaluate competitive positioning, and prioritize project pursuits based on resources and backlog
Develop Capture Plans for high-priority opportunities, coordinating cross-functional teams throughout the pursuit
Maintain and communicate work plans, dashboards, and reports to track progress against goals
Support alignment of marketing efforts with target accounts and opportunities
Ensure strong presence in regional and industry events
Support all regional sales and business development activities
Identify and mitigate risks during project pursuits, ensuring compliance with organizational standards
Participate in operations as needed for select projects
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Construction Management, or equivalent experience
Extensive knowledge of civil and utility construction
Strategic thinker with the ability to translate strategy into actionable plans
Strong solutions-oriented mindset with excellent communication skills at all levels
Proven ability to influence and drive accountability across teams
Results-focused and skilled in motivating teams to achieve measurable goals
