Responsibilities

Load or unload vans, bulk trucks, and railcars of production material, building supplies, or equipment for use in the plant or shipment to the customer

Individual is expected to perform job duties safely and in compliance with documentation outlined in the Safety, Health & Environmental system

Follow instructions for safe handling of materials as per product Material Safety Data Sheet

Wears proper safety equipment as specified in Material Safety Data Sheets or work instruction

Attend monthly safety meetings as scheduled by the Safety Department

Individual is expected to perform job duties in compliance with defined management system requirements

Unload incoming trucks, vans, rail cars, etc

Load outgoing trucks, vans, rail cars, etc

Prepare shipping and receiving documents

Confirms and/or properly labels incoming or outgoing materials

Secures gaylords to skids if required

Confirm weights of materials as instructed

Transfer bulk materials from trucks or rail cars to receiving silos
