Responsibilities
Prepare and set up packaging equipment
Prepare and stage all materials for packaging line
Complete reporting as necessary, including recording Lot Numbers, etc
Operate and troubleshoot various packaging fillers
Operate and troubleshoot various bag and/or cap sealers
Operate and troubleshoot various box sealers
Stack product on pallets based on required standards
Operate stretch wrap equipment
Operate forklift
Provide training and direction to Packaging Operators (2 – 4) on one or more packaging lines simultaneously
Any other duties as assigned by Packaging Supervisor, Plant Manager or other Supervisor or Manager
Qualification
Required
Must be able to work overtime when required, including weekends and holidays
Must be able to work in a high volume/high speed environment
Must be able to demonstrate attention to detail
Must be able to read and write English
Must be able to stand for up to 12 hours per day
Must be able to work in extreme temperatures
High School Diploma or GED
Preferred
Prefer at least one year packaging experience
