Responsibilities
Serve in a technical and advisory role for quality testing procedures, chemical analysis, and lab operations
Perform analytical testing using standardized methods and instrumentation to assess chemical and physical properties
Train new team members in lab procedures and safety protocols
Monitor compliance with internal quality standards, customer specifications, and applicable regulatory requirements
Identify quality or process issues by evaluating trends, reviewing data, and communicating with cross-functional teams
Take corrective actions to resolve quality discrepancies, escalate concerns, and support safe and accurate lab practices
Maintain working knowledge of industry standards and applicable regulations, including safety and environmental protocols
Support ergonomic and workflow improvements to optimize lab efficiency and data accuracy
Qualification
Required
Strong data analysis and documentation skills
Detail-oriented, well-organized, and able to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and capable of maintaining spreadsheets and lab databases
Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to collaborate across departments and shifts
Familiarity with good laboratory practices (GLP), safety data sheets (SDS), and handling of chemicals
Preferred
Associate or bachelor's degree in chemistry, biology, or a related science preferred
1–3 years' experience as a lab technician in a production or manufacturing setting
