This role involves providing technical sales support, assisting customers with equipment selection, and leading on-site assessments while requiring strong mechanical knowledge and effective communication skills.

Responsibilities

Provide application support around equipment selection of products

Review and analysis of technical drawings, customer specification

Support identification of market applications and target end users in specific verticals

Assist front line commercial team with presentations, quotations, and the overall sales process

Assist and lead on-site job assessments requiring consultative review and recommendations

Troubleshooting, Quality, and Field Product performance support

Support equipment retrofit redesign, sourcing, and qualification initiatives

Lead product training for face-to-face class instruction, virtual, field, and video training platforms

Assist with lead qualification and maintaining the SFDC funnel

Implement updates and maintain SFDC Configure, Price, Quote (CPQ) tool for proposal development

May have to work in environments that require industrial safety protocol

May travel up to 25%

Ability to read and interpret documents such as operating procedural manuals, maintenance instructions, safety rules and MSDS

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume

Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form

Ability to resolve problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations

Computer skills include knowledge of Microsoft Windows software suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.) and company business ERP system

Possesses the ability to clarify complex situations

Excellent verbal communication skills to work effectively with customers and internal groups, individually and in front of groups

Valid Driver's License and Passport, or ability to obtain a passport

Employee may have to lift documents/work materials up to 30 pounds in weight

Employee may have to lift tools up to 50 pounds in weight

Employee will have to be able to walk/climb to a variety of primary work locations

Employee may move themselves in different positions to accomplish tasks in various environments including tight and confined spaces

Employee will need to operate machinery and/or power tools, motor vehicles, and heavy equipment

Employee will need to listen, understand, and speak with team members in person, telephonically, and electronically at all levels within a diverse workforce

Employee will need to assess the accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of the work assigned

Employee can work in front of a personal computer and telephone for long periods of time

Will have repetitive motions that include the wrists, hands, and/or fingers

Preferred

Minimum of a 2-year technical degree with significant in-depth technical experience or a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Civil or Structural Engineering

Minimum 2-5 years experience working with hydraulic applications

Minimum 2-5 years experience in product training or support in a tool industry

Bilingual is preferred but not required
