Jumpmind is looking for an Associate Software Developer to join their growing software company. The role involves collaborating on innovative solutions, troubleshooting customer systems, and ensuring the quality delivery of software.

Responsibilities

Work as part of a team to collaborate on innovative solutions, participate in code reviews, and deliver enhancements to core products

Follow software requirements and translate them into technical implementation of new product functionality

Troubleshoot customer’s system and participate in root cause analysis

Document defects and collaborate to develop timely solutions

Collaborate with cross functional teams and internal stakeholders to ensure accuracy and quality delivery of released software

Present technical topics to teammates and demonstrate functionality to business users

Assist users of the open-source community project

Qualification

Required

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Math or related field

Knowledge of object-oriented programming fundamentals and Java

Familiar with relational database concepts

Good problem-solving and communication skills

Self-starter with the ability to learn quickly and work independently or as part of a team

Interested in helping customers/end-users apply software to solve their business problems

Comfortable to present ideas for a solution to the team and collect feedback

Ready to commute to our office (near the Polaris Mall) at least twice a week

Preferred

Used Java, Spring on a project with multiple packages

Experience writing and troubleshooting unit tests (JUnit)

Working knowledge of writing SQL commands

UI/UX experience with Vaadin framework
