New Business Development Manager - ForBuild
Dancker is a premier interiors integrator seeking a Business Development Leader for their ForBuild business unit, which focuses on specialty construction solutions. The role involves driving business growth by fostering relationships with industry professionals and identifying opportunities in various construction sectors.

Responsibilities
Drive ForBuild's growth by identifying new opportunities across the entire construction spectrum to include in modular/prefabricated construction, casework, acoustical solutions, interior glazing, architectural specialties, and more
Leverage and expand your network of industry contacts, including architects, developers, general contractors, and other key stakeholders, to generate project leads and cultivate long-term client partnerships
Act as a solutions-oriented sales leader, guiding clients through dancker’s full range of services (specialty construction, furniture, A/V technology, logistics, lab solutions, and more). Demonstrate expertise in matching customer needs with creative, construction-focused solutions
Build and manage a stable, multi-million-dollar pipeline of high-quality project opportunities, ensuring alignment with ForBuild’s strategic goals
Promote dancker’s value as an integrator by focusing on construction innovation and architectural products
Stay informed on trends and opportunities in the NJ and NY construction and real estate markets, positioning ForBuild to seize new opportunities
Maintain active memberships in relevant professional organizations and attend industry events to keep ForBuild at the forefront of market discussions and developments
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 5 years of business development experience in construction, engineering, real estate, or related fields, with a strong focus on the NJ/NY market
Demonstrated success in developing and maintaining high-level client relationships and delivering business growth
Strong knowledge of the commercial construction industry, including modular/prefabricated products, architectural elements, interior and tenant fit out
Proven ability to identify customer needs and present comprehensive solutions that address both immediate and long-term project goals
Ability to achieve an annual sales target of $10-15 million
Experience working across departments and fostering a collaborative, unified approach to project development
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly and influence decision-makers
A proactive and strategic approach to driving results, with a clear focus on growing dancker's market presence
Preferred
Education or training in Construction Management, Architecture/Design, Engineering, Business, or a related field preferred
