Responsibilities

Conduct software architecture, design, and coding activities to support new features and existing functional components

Contribute to vision for and execute on evolving the company’s ground-breaking care and population health management platform

Develop services and other system components for existing and new functionality

Collaborate with product managers, designers, QA, and other members of the engineering team

Support senior technology executives and add value with respect to strategic discussions and key technology decisions

Investigate ongoing requests and tasks and ensure timely delivery of the necessary fixes

Required

3+ years in enterprise technology development

Expertise and experience with PHP, Symfony (+ Doctrine) and Yii frameworks preferred

Expertise and experience with MySQL or other RDBMS

Knowledge of JavaScript or/and TypeScript, HTML/CSS, REST API

Knowledge of Agile methodology, common architectural patterns, Object Oriented Programming (OOP), and standard development tools (version control, project tracking, collaboration, etc.)

Understanding of most common AWS services – S3, RDS, EC2, etc

Knowledge of application development using streaming or message queuing (RabbitMQ, Kafka, etc.)

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective client engagement and cross-functional collaboration
