Responsibilities
Own the creative strategy for paid social—Meta, TikTok, YouTube, and beyond
Use AI tools to accelerate ideation, punch up copy, and build scalable testing frameworks. You don’t write every word, but you know how to get the right words fast
Lead a lean team of editors and creators to develop content that looks native but performs like direct response
Shape creator output—briefs, scripts, and raw UGC—into polished, high-performing ad assets
Mine insights from customers—reviews, comments, feedback—to uncover emotional hooks and messaging angles
Dig into performance data (hook rate, CTR, hold time, etc.) to spot patterns, validate ideas, and change what’s not working
Collaborate with media buying to align creative with real-time campaign goals and scaling opportunities
Manage freelancers and creative partners to ensure everything shipped meets the bar—and moves the needle
Qualification
Required
5+ years of experience creating or leading high-converting ad content (ideally DTC, CPG, wellness, or similar)
A strong grasp of direct response psychology—urgency, social proof, specificity, emotional resonance
Working knowledge of AI tools like ChatGPT and Claude. Not just to brainstorm, but to execute faster and test more
A portfolio of ads or campaigns that drove real performance, not just impressions
Experience working with creators and UGC to turn raw footage into top-performers
A test-and-iterate mindset—you don't get too precious, and you know how to scale winners
Preferred
