Director of SEO
Adly is a technology, data, and performance driven portfolio of SaaS subscription and content companies. The Director of SEO will lead the technical SEO strategy and execution, optimizing Adly’s website infrastructure to improve search engine visibility and drive organic traffic growth, while collaborating with cross-functional teams and mentoring junior team members.

Responsibilities
Technical SEO Strategy : Develop and execute a comprehensive technical SEO strategy that supports our broader SEO and content goals, including keyword targeting, crawl efficiency, site architecture, and schema implementation
Website Audits : Conduct regular site audits to identify and address crawl issues, duplicate content, broken links, and other technical issues that may affect search engine rankings
Performance Optimization : Oversee and improve website speed, mobile-friendliness, and Core Web Vitals, aligning site performance with SEO best practices
Structured Data & Schema Markup : Implement and manage structured data to enhance SERP appearance, using schema markup to improve visibility
Monitoring & Reporting: Track, analyze, and report on key technical SEO metrics, identifying trends and opportunities to optimize performance. Use analytics tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and third-party SEO tools (e.g., Ahrefs, SEMrush)
Collaboration : Work closely with developers to implement technical recommendations, ensuring SEO best practices are followed from initial development through production
SEO Innovation : Stay updated with the latest SEO trends, algorithm changes, and best practices. Experiment with new tools and strategies to keep Adly at the forefront of technical SEO advancements
Mentorship : Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented team environment
Qualification
Required
Minimum 7+ years of experience in technical SEO, preferably in an e-commerce or large-scale website environment
Proven experience with technical SEO tools (e.g., Screaming Frog, DeepCrawl, Google Search Console, Ahrefs and similar)
Deep understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript as they relate to SEO
Proficient in Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Google Search Console, Looker Studio, and other analytics platforms to monitor and interpret performance data
Strong analytical skills with a proactive approach to identifying and solving SEO-related issues
Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders
Strong organizational skills with experience managing multiple projects, timelines, and deliverables
Preferred
Experience with large-scale website migrations and international SEO
Familiarity with server-side technologies and CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress, Shopify)
