Responsibilities
Lead mission-critical IT solutions initiatives within the Range Management Division
Manage projects end-to-end, collaborating with customers to define requirements and coordinating with technical experts to solve complex problems
Develop and implement effective computing and IT service solutions, analyzing project costs, monitoring performance, and ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget

Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance
Required to handle and safeguard sensitive and/or classified information in accordance with regulations to reduce potential compromise
May be required to work overtime on an unscheduled or emergency basis
May be required to travel by military or commercial aircraft in the performance of TDY assignments
This is a cybersecurity position; the employee will attain appropriate DoD approved cybersecurity baseline certificate(s) within six months of filling position IAW DoD 8570.01 M
Subject to Temporary Duty Assignment (TDY): Approximately 15 days per year
Professional knowledge of the full range of principles, concepts and methodology associated with life cycle management of Cloud Computing and Cloud Service projects, to plan and complete assigned workload
Knowledge of project management principles and techniques, to include knowledge of and skill in applying cost benefit analysis principles and methods as well as to interpret policies, standards, and guidelines
Knowledge, skills and abilities as a project manager to work through project management processes to initiate, plan, execute, monitor, control and close projects
Considerable skill, ingenuity, and creative thinking in applying knowledge to plan and accomplish a variety of difficult and complex work assignments both at and away from project sites
Preferred
Acquisition and Contract Management: Contracting Officer Representative (COR) experience in working with government contracts and acquisition processes is preferred
Specific Experience within Relevant Organizations: Experience working directly with Spaceport ranges and Space Force departments is a plus
