Responsibilities
Lead a team of Auto Claims professionals to meet and exceed performance and service goals
Communicate job expectations clearly; plan, monitor, and appraise performance results
Recruit, train, and develop employees while managing schedules, assignments, and workload
Provide coaching, feedback, and support to foster continuous learning and professional growth
Handle escalated claims, DOI complaints, and attorney-represented cases
Maintain high service and quality standards through regular review and process improvement
Partner with leadership to develop and implement strategic goals and initiatives
Promote open communication through regular meetings and team engagement
Support catastrophe operations as needed, including occasional overtime during surge events
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
5+ years of Auto Claims experience
Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Proven ability to deliver superior customer service
Excellent communication (verbal and written) and organizational skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Must hold or be able to obtain an active Arizona Adjuster License
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing systems and processes
Availability to work after hours or weekends as needed
Preferred
Prior experience managing Injury Claim professionals
2+ years handling or managing complex injury claims, including catastrophic losses or fatalities
Experience managing complex coverage or multi-state claims (CA experience a plus)
Bachelor's degree strongly preferred
Prior military service or customer service leadership experience a plus
