Textron is a leading multi-industry company known for innovative defense technologies and services. Howe & Howe, Inc. is seeking a mechanical engineering intern to assist in developing mechanical design concepts and support fabrication, assembly, testing, and troubleshooting tasks.

Responsibilities

Creating electrical schematics, harnessing design, and drawings in CAD system such as AutoCAD and SolidWorks

Performing engineering calculations, writing specifications, formulating sketches, testing criteria, failure analysis, and cost estimates

Providing technical support to both internal and external customers for technical data package delivery

Supporting Prototype build, troubleshooting and documentation as required

Understanding customer requirements, and provide design solutions

Familiarity with Military standard and specifications then incorporating them into the system design

Interest in automotive design related field

Currently pursuing bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or similar field of study
