Responsibilities

Support the software engineering lifecycle following the program Software Development Plan (SDP) to include requirements analysis, object-oriented analysis & design, code & unit test, integration, and support to formal test/delivery
Develop and automate unit, integration, and hardware‑in‑the‑loop (HIL) test procedures
Writing and managing software requirements
Capture, trace, and manage requirements using tools like IBM DOORS
Work in cross‑functional teams (hardware, firmware, mechanical, mission specialists)
Strong written communication for formal documents (requirements, test plans, reports) and oral communication for briefings and design reviews

Required

Proficiency in C/C++ for real‑time/embedded environments
Ability to develop and automate unit, integration, and hardware‑in‑the‑loop (HIL) test procedures
Direct experience writing and managing software requirements
Ability to capture, trace, and manage requirements using tools like IBM DOORS
Ability to work in cross‑functional teams (hardware, firmware, mechanical, mission specialists)
Strong written communication for formal documents (requirements, test plans, reports) and oral communication for briefings and design reviews
Must be a US Citizen
This position will require Final Secret government security clearance prior to starting

Preferred

Exposure to satellite payload or missile guidance & control subsystems
Familiarity with model‑based systems engineering (MBSE) tools such as Cameo
Experience with cybersecurity testing (e.g., FIPS‑validated libraries, secure boot)
