They are seeking an Architectural Scan-to-CAD Technician to conduct onsite surveys, operate advanced 3D scanning equipment, and convert field data into precise architectural drawings.

Responsibilities
Conduct onsite visits to commercial buildings to collect data using 3D laser scanning and field measurement tools
Convert point clouds, field notes, and measurements into accurate CAD drawings or BIM
Read, interpret, and work from construction documents, architectural drawings, and specifications
Polyline and implement BOMA & REBNY measurement standards
Learn and apply Stevenson Systems’ specialized methodology in Space Accounting
Collaborate closely with field and office teams to ensure consistency and quality across deliverables
Qualification
Required
Strong interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills
Willingness and ability to travel 10–12 days per month, often out of state
Physically capable of extended walking and standing (up to 10 hours/day during site visits)
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Basic proficiency in architectural scales, measurements, and fractions
Basic proficiency in AutoCAD or similar drafting software
Understanding of drafting standards, commands, and architectural documentation
Ability to navigate and interpret construction drawings and building plans
Preferred
Experience with 3D scanning, point cloud registration, or reality capture tools
Experience converting point clouds into CAD or Revit workflows
Familiarity with BOMA standards or commercial space measurement methodologies
Intermediate Revit experience (modeling, annotation, or linking point clouds)
