Endloader Operator

Responsibilities
Operate powered equipment or engines to move rail cars into and through the yard
Operate control panels or switchboards to manage loading and unloading machines and equipment for various bulk materials from trucks, trains, and water vessels or tanks, following established guidelines
Monitor loading and unloading processes, adhere to standard operating procedures, and make necessary adjustments to ensure efficient and reliable operations
Perform manual preparations for loading and unloading; complete inspections, documentation, and quality records both manually and electronically as required
Comply with all safety policies and procedures, including equipment lockout/tagout protocols
Promote and support a culture of zero fatalities, injuries, and illnesses
Identify and proactively mitigate environmental impacts and potential business risks
Perform general plant tasks with minimal supervision
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Right to work in the U.S. that is not based solely on possession of a student visa or a visa sponsored by a third-party employer
Cargill requires employees to be a minimum of 18 years old to work in a production facility
Ability to understand and communicate in English (verbal/written)
Basic use of a computer
Ability to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions, which may include heat, cold, dust, loud noise, etc., with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
Ability to work in elevated areas (4 feet and above)
Ability to perform physical job duties, which may include bending, lifting up to 50lbs, kneeling, climbing, crawling, and twisting, with or without a reasonable accommodation
Ability to work overtime, including weekends, holidays, or different shifts with advance notice
Preferred
High school diploma/GED or a minimum of two years of equivalent work experience
Must be able to operate machinery and/or industrial equipment
At least 1 year of experience operating heavy equipment such as a front-end loader or wheel loader
Driver's License
Experience with SAP or a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
Working knowledge of inventory systems
