Responsibilities

Install, monitor, test, and maintain equipment associated with the wireless data and voice networks
Determine network stability, traffic loads/trending and potential outages
Responsible for TCP/IP network design analysis/recommendations
IP security
Software upgrades
Network documentation

Qualification

LTE EPCIMS for VoLTE & VoWiFiRouting/Switching/MPLSVirtualizationEthernet TransportTranslations/SignalingLinux systemsCommand line interfaceTCP/IP understandingSystem diagram interpretationCommunication skillsProblem-solving skills

Required

Associate Degree in Communications Technology, Information Networking or the equivalent
Three years of related work experience in the Wireless industry
Strong experience with Virtualization, Linux systems, and command line interface
Ability to monitor and troubleshoot very complex, mission-critical systems
Strong understanding of L2, L3 (TCP/IP) and L4 (UDP/TCP)
Excellent communication and follow-up skills
Proven ability to work independently and escalate issues appropriately
Ability to deliver in fast-paced, high-volume environment supporting aggressive targets
Experience drawing/interpreting complex system diagrams

Preferred

Experience with listed vendor(s) preferred: LTE EPC (Ericsson), IMS for VoLTE & VoWiFi (Ericsson), Routing/Switching/MPLS (Nokia & Cisco), Virtualization (VMware, K8s, OpenStack), Ethernet Transport, Translations/Signaling (SIGTRAN, SIP)
