Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain high-quality Tableau dashboards and visualizations
Translate business requirements into intuitive dashboards with clear KPIs and actionable insights
Apply best practices in UI/UX, interactivity, and performance tuning
Validate metrics and logic to ensure reporting accuracy and consistency
Maintain a structured, governed, and non-duplicative Tableau reporting environment
Build dashboards using approved, validated data sources
Document dashboards, calculations, data logic, and usage guidelines
Write SQL for data analysis, transformations, and dashboard support
Collaborate with Data Engineering on data ingestion needs and reporting-ready structures
Develop a deep understanding of enterprise data models, facts, and dimensions
Manage Tableau Server content structure, deployments, permissions, and usage
Optimize dashboard performance and ensure seamless user experience
Follow data access controls and ensure reporting aligns with security requirements
Qualification
Required
7–10 years of professional Tableau development experience
Expert-level proficiency with Tableau Desktop (LOD expressions, complex calculations, parameters, performance optimization)
Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Highly organized with a disciplined approach to managing reporting assets and prioritizing requests
Understanding of data governance, metric definitions, and reporting accuracy
Must be local and able to work in a hybrid schedule
Preferred
Experience using Tableau Prep for data cleaning and transformation
Experience with Snowflake or other cloud data warehouses
Experience supporting or migrating SSRS legacy reports
Background in payments, finance, fraud, or operational reporting
Exposure to data cataloging or metadata management tools
Familiarity with agile delivery or BI lifecycle processes
