Maintenance Purchasing Agent - 1st - Camp Hill
Cargill is a family company providing essential food and agricultural solutions, and they are seeking a Maintenance Purchasing Agent. The role involves processing purchase orders, negotiating with suppliers, and maintaining inventory for MRO items to support production and maintenance needs.

Responsibilities
Ensure critical items needed for Production and Maintenance are always in stock
Initiate PR/PO’s for production supplies, equipment related parts and supplies for maintenance
Receive and distribute all parts for Maintenance and Operations including safety stock parts
Follow-up on past due orders
Weekly cycle counts
Maintain correspondence with vendors via phone and/or email
Work with maintenance to understand and be proactive with their parts needs
Maintain all new material to ensure inventory
Handle basic issues while escalating more complex problems to appropriate staff
Record and purchase all issue out material
Organize parts storage
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Previous experience with Purchasing
Previous experience with SAP
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Accuracy and attention to detail
Ability to work independently
Strong interpersonal skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Proficient in research and part identity
