Technical Program Manager III, Fleet Resource Management, Google Cloud

Responsibilities
Manage a portfolio of projects related to fleet efficiency, resource stranding, reverse supply chain, and other fleet priorities
Translate new supply chain capabilities into cost reduction initiatives or user facing feature improvements and work with software engineering partners to manage product roadmaps and priorities
Support operations and problem-solving projects related to the allocation and budgeting of internal computing resources
Support subsequent operations and problem-solving projects related to supply chain management and capacity planning needs for computing resources
Provide scripting/tool development as necessary and work with partner teams to manage, launch and deliver projects related to process redesign around demand and supply-side compute resource management
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience
5 years of experience in program management
Experience in one of the following in a data center environment: fleet management, resource management, or infrastructure management
Preferred
5 years of experience in managing cross-functional or cross-team projects
Experience in managing technical projects
Experience with scripting or business tool development using SQL or Python
Experience with Google software services or understanding of compute/storage resource management
Ability to influence and deliver solutions in an ambiguous and always changing environment
