Responsibilities

Provide guidance on terms and conditions submittal, approval, and re-use process
Reviewing, negotiating, and providing guidance on subcontract terms and conditions
Interpreting regulations and contract language to ensure compliance
Identifying, developing, and maintaining processes and resources for Business Area Agreements
Supporting risk mitigation and issue resolution related to contract terms and conditions
Interfacing with internal and external stakeholders at all levels of the organization

Required

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college, or equivalent experience/combined education
5+ years of experience in legal, contracts, or Supply Chain Management (i.e… Procurement, Subcontract Administration, Subcontract Management, Negotiation, proposal, and/or Category Management)
Experience in contract / terms and conditions negotiations and interpretation (supplier or customer facing)
Experience with US Government Contracting and the associated regulations (Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and the Department of Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations Supplement (DFARS)) or Contract Law experience in another highly regulated industry

Preferred

Legal experience or education, such as a JD
Experience in contract negotiations for Commercial / Noncommercial agreements
Experienced and effective communicator (written, verbal and presentation)
Experience working for a large defense contractor
Experience analyzing, resolving, and negotiating supplier exceptions to terms and conditions
Experience in Federal procurement law and the Uniform Commercial Code (UCC)
Experience with Master License Agreements
Experience with DFARS Sourcing Requirements and Compliance
Experience within a buying or compliance role with a detailed awareness of buyer needs
Experience in data analytics and / or process improvement
Demonstrates sound judgment and navigates through complex situations with diplomacy
Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners
Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously, resolve complex issues, develop negotiation strategies, and provide creative solutions
Ability to work independently, establish priorities, meet deadlines with minimal supervision, and influence internal and external business partners / customers
