Responsibilities

Punctual and dependable attendance
Review and be familiar with Goodwill of Central Oklahoma safety and security policies, programs and procedures and adhere to all safety rules, regulations and safety codes. Attend safety training and meetings and report on any unsafe work conditions, accidents or injuries immediately
Manually sort donated goods merchandise by identifying condition and category (i.e., clothing. Houseware, etc.)
Visually examines items for flaws, irregularities, and determines if item is suitable for resale according to established quality standards
Clean/wipe down items with cleaning/deodorizer solvent to prepare the items for sale
Assists material handler by placing filled or empty handling equipment in proper locations
Meet daily production expectations and timelines set forth by the supervisor
Responsible for general housekeeping in work area
Must wear company approved Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required
Perform other duties and projects as required by management

Required

Reliable transportation and communication, required
Ability to speak, read and write the English language

Preferred

High school diploma or GED, preferred
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline driven work environment
