Responsibilities
Lead, inspire, and manage a high-performing team consisting of Analytics and Data Science professionals
Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment, ensuring effective communication, and promoting professional development
Set goals and expectations, conduct performance evaluations, and initiate career development programs for team members
Partner with key stakeholders, including senior leadership, to define and refine Finance analytics strategies that align to delivering on business objectives
Oversee the development of advanced analytical models and solutions to drive insights, uncover patterns, and support data-driven decision-making
Drive the adoption and leverage of appropriate tools, technologies, and best practices to enhance analytics capabilities within Finance
Identify opportunities for automation and process improvements to enhance data delivery efficiency and quality
Create strategy for automation in Finance Analytics
Collaborate with BU finance and cross-functional teams in the region to identify and prioritize strategic initiatives, analytics roadmaps, and how goals align to business objectives
Oversee the execution of strategic projects from ideation to implementation, ensuring alignment with overall company goals and objectives
Develop and implement frameworks and processes to enable effective ownership, including prioritization, requirements gathering, and user feedback
Stay current with new technologies and influence roadmap for Finance Data and Analytics journey
Provide thought leadership and guidance on finance data governance, data management, and analytics best practices
Foster a culture of data-driven decision-making and educate stakeholders on the value of analytics and its impact on business outcomes
Collaborate with Enterprise IT and Corporate Finance and other relevant teams to ensure the availability, accessibility, and quality of data for analytics initiatives
Build strong partnerships with key stakeholders, including executives, department heads, IT, and business leaders, to understand their analytics needs
Proactively engage with stakeholders to identify opportunities for analytics innovation and continuous improvement
Advocate for the value and impact of analytics and enablement initiatives, ensuring alignment with overall business strategy
Act as a trusted advisor, sharing insights and recommendations on data technology, delivery processes, and governance to drive business value and inform decision-making
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as Data Science, Business Analytics, Finance or a technical discipline
Proven experience of 15+ years in analytics, data science, strategy, finance or related roles, preferably in a leadership capacity
Strong understanding of Finance analytics methodologies, data-driven decision-making, and data governance principles
Experience in managing cross-functional teams and driving innovation in complex business environments
Proficiency in analytics tools, programming languages (such as Python, R, or SQL), and data visualization platforms
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex analytics concepts into actionable insights
Strong business & Financial acumen and the ability to understand and articulate business challenges and opportunities
Demonstrated ability to influence and collaborate with diverse stakeholders at different organizational levels
