They are seeking a Principal Engineer who will work with a team of engineers to build and scale a serverless platform, making architectural decisions and mentoring team members while ensuring efficient development processes.

Responsibilities
Make architectural decisions for our serverless platform – you own the technical direction
Review code, challenge approaches, and guide the team toward better solutions
Jump into our most important technical problems and get hands on in the code
Identify what's slowing us down (tech debt, process, tooling) and fix it
Work with Product to translate 'what we need' into 'what we're building'
Keep an eye on AWS costs and performance
Qualification
Required
Experience with AWS serverless architecture
Proficiency in C#/.NET
Experience with Lambda, API Gateway, and Step Functions
Experience with React
Familiarity with CloudFormation for Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
Experience with Azure DevOps for project management and CI/CD
Ability to make architectural decisions
Experience in mentoring engineers
Strong problem-solving skills
Ability to translate product needs into technical solutions
Experience in managing technical debt and improving processes
