Shearer Supply, Inc. is seeking an IT Infrastructure Manager to maintain their core technology infrastructure. This role will be responsible for managing complex infrastructure issues, overseeing vendor relationships, and ensuring reliable operation of network and telephony systems.

Responsibilities

Serve as the primary escalation point for infrastructure issues beyond Tier 3 helpdesk support

Oversee vendor maintenance of network infrastructure

Oversee telephony and VOIP systems, ensuring reliable voice communications across the organization

Manage ISP circuit relationships, monitor bandwidth utilization, and coordinate failover configurations

Develop, test, and maintain disaster recovery plans and business continuity procedures

Coordinate and manage traffic between internal teams, MSP partners, and external vendors

Evaluate, recommend, and implement infrastructure improvements and technology upgrades

Maintain documentation of network topology, system configurations, and operational procedures

Support Microsoft cloud environments including Azure AD, Intune, and Office 365 infrastructure

Perform local, in office T1-T2 support as directed

Required

5+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, networking, or systems administration

Strong networking foundation with hands-on experience in routing, switching, firewalls, and VPN technologies

Experience managing telephony/VOIP systems and ISP circuit relationships

Demonstrated experience with disaster recovery planning and business continuity

Fluency in Microsoft cloud platforms (Azure AD, Intune, Office 365)

Strong communication skills with the ability to coordinate across vendors, MSPs, and internal stakeholders

Preferred

Relevant certifications preferred: CompTIA Network+, CCNA, or equivalent
