Responsibilities
Support senior staff in the initiation, design, and delivery of projects, particularly for single use systems
Support senior staff in obtaining, organizing, and entering data for a single-use systems database that will be utilized by a broad, cross-functional user base
Support the triage of new single-use system designs
Qualification
Required
Early-career engineer, typically a new graduate or someone with 0-2 years of industry experience
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering
Strong grasp of core engineering principles
Detail-oriented
Comfortable performing data entry into engineering databases
Eager to support design reviews and day-to-day engineering workload alongside a senior engineer
Motivated and collaborative
Genuinely interested in hands-on learning within a highly supportive team
Reliability, communication skills, and self-management are essential
Support of senior staff in the initiation, design, and delivery of projects, particularly for single use systems
Support senior staff in obtaining, organizing, and entering data for a single-use systems database
Support the triage of new single-use system designs
Ability to work independently
Preferred
Exposure to single-use systems or biotech engineering is helpful but not required
Candidates with extensive engineering backgrounds (e.g., senior or principal-level profiles) will not be a fit
