Responsibilities

Interface with key stakeholders

Apply your technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture definition and Design

Create the high level design artifacts

Deliver high quality code deliverables for a module

Lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition and warranty

Required

Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Hartford, CT

Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education

At least 4 years of Information Technology experience

At least 2 years of development experience in maintaining high-quality software using Python programming language

In-depth understanding of the Python software development stacks, ecosystems, frameworks and tools such as Numpy, Scipy, Pandas, Dask, spaCy, NLTK, sci-kit-learn and PyTorch

Experience with ReactJS, React Hooks and Redux and modern front-end development practices

Designing and developing cloud-native applications using NodeJS, Next JS platform
