The Wittern Group is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Human Resources Assistant to support their HR department. The ideal candidate will assist with various HR functions, ensuring smooth daily operations and contributing to a positive workplace environment.

Responsibilities
Assist with talent acquisition processes, including HR sourcing, ATS management, and interview coordination
Support employee onboarding, orientation, and training & development initiatives
Maintain accurate HRIS data using systems such as Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM, or UltiPro
Administer employee benefits programs and manage benefits documentation
Assist with performance management processes and employee evaluations
Support compliance with employment & labor law, OSHA standards, workers' compensation policies, and affirmative action planning
Contribute to change management and organization design projects
Handle data collection, data entry, and recordkeeping related to HR activities
Support employee relations efforts by addressing inquiries and facilitating conflict management procedures
Manage administrative tasks including contracts processing, social media management for employer branding, and document preparation
Collaborate on workforce management initiatives utilizing Kronos or Paychex systems
Qualification
Required

Preferred
Prior experience in human resources or administrative roles is preferred but not required; relevant internships are also valuable
Familiarity with HRIS platforms such as Workday, ADP, Paylocity, or Taleo is advantageous
Knowledge of employment & labor law, FMLA regulations, OSHA standards, and workers' compensation procedures is desirable
Strong communication skills with the ability to handle sensitive information professionally
Experience with project management and strategic planning within HR functions is a plus
Proficiency in data collection, data entry, and reporting tools such as Salesforce or iCIMS will be beneficial
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently in a fast-paced environment
