Executive Leadership Solutions is representing a leading convenience store operator in the Northeast. This position is responsible for increasing sales and profitability for assigned categories, requiring strong vendor management and a deep understanding of the beverage market.

Responsibilities
Strong understanding of the convenience store industry and/or liquor stores
Must have prior experience with Beer, Wine and Liquor
Manages key vendor relationships including but not limited to responding to vendor requests, contract negotiations, pricing discrepancies, and troubleshooting any issues
Create an actionable strategy for assortment, price & promotions
Works with merchandising manager to ensure promotions and POP are developed for the sales plan period
Monitor performance across assigned categories using multiple sources of data
Stay updated on industry trends and competitive market
Create and maintain by-store planograms
Work collaboratively with operations to develop programs that supports the regionality of the chain
Introduces new products and programs to drives sales within the category
Review and negotiate costs to ensure full margin potential
Visit stores on a weekly basis with work with managers on assigned categories
Research competitors and suggest appropriate pricing and promotional activities
Qualification
Required
