Responsibilities
Take on complex technical tasks
Influence architectural decisions
Champion engineering best practices throughout the development lifecycle
Design scalable and maintainable APIs and event-driven systems within AWS
Balance strong execution with long-term system health and maintainability
Work independently with minimal oversight while collaborating closely with cross-functional partners
Apply sound judgment, drawing on established best practices and proven patterns to deliver effective, sustainable solutions
Participate in on-call rotations
Provide support for production systems as needed
Qualification
Required
Strong technical expertise in web services development
Experience with designing scalable and maintainable APIs
Experience with event-driven systems within AWS
Ability to influence architectural decisions
