Responsibilities

Own the full Tableau Creator lifecycle: design, build, publish, and maintain interactive, self-serve dashboards and data sources that evolve to the single source of truth for the company

Connect, blend, and model Salesforce data (including custom objects, historical trending, and joined data sources) directly in Tableau using native connectors, extracts, and live queries

Create and govern reusable Tableau data sources, calculated fields, LOD expressions, parameters, and dashboard actions that scale as we grow

Tie in additional data sources such as Pendo for usage analysis to be joined with Salesforce Account and Opportunity data for a holistic view of customer usage and health

Continue enhancing our strong Salesforce reporting foundation and surface those metrics beautifully in Tableau

Use advanced Excel as a rapid prototyping and reconciliation tool for quick one-off pivots

Required

2+ years hands-on Tableau Creator experience — you have published dozens of production dashboards and are comfortable with complex calculations, dashboard performance tuning, and data source certification

Tableau Desktop Specialist/Qualified Associate (or higher), Salesforce, basic SQL/SOQL

Proven ability to integrate and model Salesforce data in Tableau at scale (live connections, extracts, cross-database joins, incremental refreshes)

Deep knowledge of SaaS metrics and Salesforce reporting (opportunities, accounts, activities, custom objects, forecast categories, etc.)

Advanced-level Excel for ad-hoc analysis and validation

Able to perform light Salesforce admin duties (report/dashboard maintenance) to keep the underlying data clean and reliable for Tableau
