Part-Time Camera & Access Control Technician
525 Technologies is a company focused on providing efficient and cost-effective technical solutions. They are seeking a reliable Camera and Access Control Technician to assist with the maintenance, troubleshooting, and installation of security systems across multiple facilities.

Responsibilities
Provide on-site support for security cameras (CCTV/IP) and access control systems
Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs of equipment
Assist with new installations, including wiring, device setup, and system configuration
Work with IT/security teams to address system alerts and performance issues
Maintain accurate records of service, repairs, and installations
Ensure compliance with safety and security standards
Qualification
Required
Experience with CCTV, IP cameras, and access control systems
Basic networking knowledge (IP addressing, switches, connectivity)
Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and technical manuals
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
High school diploma or equivalent (technical certifications a plus)
Minimum 1–2 years of relevant experience in security systems, low-voltage, or IT support
Ability to lift 50 lbs and work on ladders or in confined spaces as needed
Must pass a background check
Preferred
Hands-on knowledge of Genetec Security Center and ExacqVision platforms is strongly preferred
