Responsibilities
Complete daily, weekly, end-of-month, and customer ledger invoices and adjustments
Identify stalled orders and facilitate processing through the system
Correct outgoing EDI send failures and incoming EDI rejections
Meet end-of-month invoicing and task deadlines
Investigate and respond promptly to customer inquiries
Facilitate customer regrind credit and refund requests
Identify opportunities to minimize downstream billing errors
Assist with updates to Billing SOPs
Work closely with Customer Service, Transportation, Accounts Receivable, and Tax Departments on invoicing matters
Support Account Specialists and Accounts Receivable teams with order entry reports for account reconciliation
Qualification
Required
2–3 years of experience in Billing or Accounting functions
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
Proficiency in MS Word and Excel (including vlookup and pivot tables)
Strong ability to meet deadlines and work independently or collaboratively
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong time management and analytical skills
Preferred
Experience with JD Edwards
Familiarity with manufacturing environments
