Responsibilities
Follow sourcing strategies to ensure cost-effective and timely procurement of goods and services
Identify new suppliers for the assigned procurement categories and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure quality, reliability, and high performance
Manage RFP/RFQ and negotiate terms, prices, and conditions with suppliers to secure favorable contracts
Contribute to procurement budget management, spend monitoring, and implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality for the categories under his / her responsibility
Work closely with Business Units requesting services/goods and other departments to ensure any step of contract negotiation, formalization and procurement policy compliance
Improve continuously the procurement process leveraging the functionalities and opportunities offered by the Ariba platform, always aiming at streamlining the process, to gain efficiency and effectiveness
Contribute to conduct market research to identify trends, new suppliers, and opportunities for innovation in the supply chain
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent, in related field
5 Years In Procurement with specific expertise in Ariba platform
Preferred
Master's Degree, or equivalent, in Economics or Engineering
7 years in Procurement including Governance roles, with specific expertise in Ariba platform
