Responsibilities

Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts using statistical methods, historical data, consumption data and market trends
Monitor and analyze forecast accuracy metrics, implementing corrective actions as necessary to improve forecasting processes
Provide forecast intelligence to supply planning to help drive KIND’s ability to deliver targeted service level performance
Work closely with sales, marketing, and supply chain teams to gather insights and align demand plans with business objectives
Monitor inventory levels and ensure optimal stock levels to meet customer demand while minimizing excess inventory
Analyze sales data, market trends, and customer behavior to identify opportunities for demand improvement
Prepare and present demand forecasts and inventory reports to senior management and stakeholders
Continuously evaluate and improve demand planning processes and tools to enhance accuracy and efficiency
Participate in cross-functional projects related to supply chain optimization, new product launches, and promotional activities

Required

3-5 years of experience within Supply Chain, preferably in Demand Planning
Bachelor's degree in applicable field (e.g., business, supply chain, finance, marketing, etc)
Prior experience working in an Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process
Advanced working knowledge of Excel (e.g., Pivot Tables, V-lookups, formulas, etc)
Demonstrated analytical, communication, and collaboration skills

Preferred

Demonstrated knowledge of Tier 1 ERP systems (e.g., JDE, SAP) and Tier 1 planning systems (e.g., Logility, Blue Yonder, SAP)
Experience with statistical forecasting and maintaining demand plans for large and diverse SKU mixes across multiple categories
APICS Certification
