nLogic is seeking a Space Systems Advanced Development Chief Engineer to join our team in El Segundo, CA. You will join the MILSATCOM Systems Engineering team to help define the next generation of space communication systems supporting Air Force Military Satellite Communications, collaborating with various stakeholders and leading technical discussions.

Responsibilities

Lead SE&I Futures technical baseline and technology development for space systems command MILCOMM Program Executive Office
Maintain the military satcom solutions architecture and capabilities baseline for future systems
Support Analysis of Alternatives, trades, and acquisition of satellite and ground systems in support of tactical and strategic objectives of the Spaceforce Force Design
Interfacing with satcom users and stakeholders assessing needs, interfaces, and capabilities and apply to requirements, simulation, and development activities
Support international coalition architectures and operations development and planning
Develop new processes, tools, and algorithms in support of the architecture and technology integration processes
Conduct market and satellite and ground technology assessments and develop and launch projects to mature and transition capability onto programs and into operations
Interface with customers, users, and stakeholders at location, conferences, and workshops
Work with the nationwide network of the Futures Team SME’s
Face time with Los Angeles and Colorado Spaceforce customers in office exchange, meetings, tag-ups, and reviews
Travel Requirements: moderate to high (may moderate through use of nationwide SME network)
