Project Manager

Responsibilities

Oversee all staff assigned to the contract, providing direction, guidance, and performance management to ensure successful execution of contract requirements
Manage project scope, schedule, and deliverables, ensuring compliance with contract terms, quality standards, and client expectations
Serve as the primary daily point of contact for the client regarding all aspects of the firm’s work under the contract
Coordinate project activities, resources, and priorities to meet established timelines and objectives
Monitor project progress, identify risks or issues, and implement corrective actions as needed
Prepare and deliver status reports, updates, and briefings to leadership and client stakeholders
Support contract reporting, documentation, and administrative requirements, ensuring accuracy and completeness
Promote a collaborative team environment and foster strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Ensure adherence to organizational policies, quality control processes, and regulatory or contractual requirements
Performs other job-related duties as assigned

Required

Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, or a related field
Minimum of 8 years of relevant project management experience, preferably within government contracting or a similar environment
Demonstrated experience leading teams and managing multi-faceted projects with complex deliverables
Strong client-facing communication and interpersonal skills
Proven ability to manage competing priorities and adapt to evolving project needs
Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies
Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal

Preferred

Master's degree in Business, Management, or a related field
PMP or equivalent certification strongly preferred
