Responsibilities
Develop, administer, and support Application Integration solutions for business processes
Support and administer EnergyIP Meter Data Management system
Implement and manage J2EE Application Server platforms for web-delivered business applications
Manage work packages and collaborate with Application Development, IT Infrastructure, Communication Services, Service Support, IT Operations, and vendors
Ensure integration services and architectures are designed, tested, documented, implemented, enhanced, and maintained by operational standards
Provide 2nd-level proactive/reactive service and performance management for mission-critical systems; configure real-time alerts and resolve performance issues
Perform ongoing performance analysis, troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and solution implementation
Automate system administration tasks using scripting
Maintain 24x7x365 service availability; participate in on-call rotation
Ensure host security (passwords, file permissions, file system integrity, security packages, SSH) and network security
Support services/processes with proper escalation; cross-train team members
Communicate technical solutions effectively (oral/written)
Focus on operational/tactical tasks with some strategic responsibilities; may supervise lower-level analysts
Professional certification required; perform other assigned duties
