ARCO/Murray is a Family of Construction Companies dedicated to the design/build construction process. They are seeking a highly motivated Architectural Designer to join their in-house design team, focusing on tenant improvement and adaptive re-use projects in various sectors.

Responsibilities

Responsible for all aspects of architectural design, ranging from concept development through documentation, although specific phases or deliverables needed vary greatly by project

Conduct code research, test fits, and preliminary space plans, including 3D axonometric views

Prepare and lead programming and presentation calls with clients

Work closely with clients and Project Managers to develop schematic and design development level drawings

Conduct code study, zoning, life safety, occupancy, and plumbing requirements

Create 3d views, renders, and interior fly-thru videos for clients

Coordinate design cost with in-house construction PMs to ensure selections are within budget

Communicate with MEP and other trades to coordinate design intent and avoid clashes

Be a problem solver for all things design-related and assist PMs in bringing the client’s vision to life

Organize, plan, and manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously to accomplish desired results

Commit to quality by self-reviewing work and ensuring it meets professional and team standards

Act in a manner of integrity that shows support for the company, its values, and other associates, while maintaining a constant focus on meeting/exceeding customer requirements and expectations

Help build the team’s capabilities. This could be enhancing Revit families, developing rendering tools, streamlining finish selections… endless possibilities. What can you bring to the team?
