Responsibilities

Manage, mentor, and grow a team of software engineers. Conduct performance reviews, set goals, and support career development
Guide the design, development, and deployment of scalable applications using full stack technologies (Java, JavaScript, Python, etc.)
Engage directly in coding, troubleshooting, and code reviews when needed to support the team or accelerate delivery
Lead planning and execution of software projects. Ensure timely delivery, quality assurance, and alignment with business priorities
Drive architectural decisions and long-term technology strategy. Lead PoCs and evaluations for middleware, integration platforms, and development tools
Oversee CI/CD pipelines, cloud deployments (AWS, Azure, GCP), and infrastructure automation
Partner with business units, product owners, and IT leadership to gather requirements and deliver integrated solutions
Ensure applications meet security, compliance, and regulatory standards. Promote secure coding practices and risk mitigation
Maintain documentation of systems, processes, and performance metrics. Provide regular updates to leadership
Foster a culture of learning, experimentation, and process optimization

Required

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field from an accredited college or university
Minimum of 10 years in software engineering, with at least 3 years in leadership/managerial role
Proven experience managing full stack development teams and delivering enterprise-grade applications
Equivalent experience (12+ years) may be considered
Proficiency in full stack development (Java, JavaScript frameworks, Python)
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
Strong understanding of microservices, APIs, and enterprise architecture
Deep understanding of development tools: IntelliJ IDEA, Eclipse, VS Code, Maven, Gradle
Expertise in CICD/DevOps automation leveraging Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, Git, GitHub, GitLab
Working knowledge of collaboration tools like JIRA, confluence
Knowledge of secure coding practices and regulatory requirements
Experience with authentication and authorization frameworks (OAuth, JWT)
Strong people management and mentoring skills
Excellent communication, collaboration, and conflict resolution abilities
Strategic thinking and problem-solving mindset
Ability to foster a high-performing, inclusive team culture
A willingness to be hands-on and lead by example in technical execution
