Responsibilities
Design and develop switchboards, panelboards, and custom electrical distribution assemblies
Create and review engineering drawings, bills of material, and technical submittals for accuracy and compliance
Interpret customer specifications, contract documents, and one-line diagrams to ensure product alignment and identify required changes
Coordinate Short Circuit and Coordination Studies and ensure all engineering data meets UL, NEC, and customer requirements
Release equipment to production, manage schedules, and coordinate deliveries with internal teams and customers
Procure long lead-time components, configure materials, and enter project data into the ERP system
Review returned drawings and submittals, analyze markups, and communicate revisions to stakeholders
Support customers directly via phone and site visits to assess layouts, logistics, and project conditions
Provide post-sales technical support throughout the equipment lifecycle
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
2+ years of experience in switchgear, power distribution, or related electrical equipment
Strong understanding of electrical power systems and industry UL/NEC standards
Proficiency with MS Excel and ability to work effectively across departments
Comfort interpreting technical drawings, specifications, and engineering documents
