Responsibilities
Oversee monthly financial statements for multiple entities
Ensure accurate revenue recognition under ASC 606 for subscription and service revenue
Prepare journal entries, perform GL reviews, and maintain balance sheet reconciliations
Manage AR aging, support collections, and validate revenue adjustments
Oversee domestic and international cash management
Monitor lender covenants and prepare required reporting packages
Lead annual audits (U.S., U.K., Netherlands) and support tax/audit activities
Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly investor reporting
Partner with FP&A on budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis
Support M&A due diligence, international expansion, and system implementations
Strengthen internal controls and ensure adherence to U.S. GAAP
Research and resolve technical accounting matters
Administer accounting systems (ERP, billing, AP) and drive automation initiatives
Improve ERP and financial systems to support scale
File sales tax returns in nexus states and ensure jurisdictional compliance
Mentor and develop accounting team members
Champion a culture of accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement
Qualification
Required
CPA required
Bachelor's in Accounting
12–15 years of accounting experience, including 3+ years in a senior leadership role
Strong US GAAP knowledge and audit readiness skills
Advanced Excel skills and experience with systems like Sage Intacct, NetSuite, Maxio, Tipalti, etc
Must be willing to be onsite 3 days/week
Preferred
SaaS or tech industry experience strongly preferred; deep ASC 606 expertise
Private equity reporting and lender compliance experience
